The Georgia Navigator Cup is a group effort and this years effort was well
rewarded with a quality group of participants and competitors. It started as
early as a year ago with anticipating the trip to Mistletoe State Park and will
end when the savvy competitor posts his/her route choice on the internet to
contemplate the race.
The time between was filled by map updating, course design, gathering Epunch
experience, course setting, more map updating, registration, more epunch
experience. Those who did all this before, during and after the meet are listed
below. Bear in mind that the real reason we go through this effort is to provide
a worthy competition for those from other parts of the country, knowing full
well that they will go through the same effort to provide the same for us.
That's the quid pro quo of orienteering "A" meets. Be sure to enter some "A"
meet this year, near or far, to spread the love. Even if you didn't attend this
meet, your presence at our local meets serves the same purpose.
