I would like to add my own congratulations to that of all those who attended the convention. GAOC and COK did an absolutely wonderful job of hosting us this summer.

We owe a huge thank you to Laurie Searle, as Convention Director, and to the many Georgia and North Carolina club members whose expertise and willingness to serve made this one of the best conventions EVER!

It was never too hot and the rains seemed to come at nice times, such as evening meal. You could sit by the floor-to-ceiling picture windows in the hilltop cafeteria and watch the smoky-gray clouds and sheets of silvery rain roll in over the beautifully green mountains-and drink your hot chocolate, or coffee, without saying a word, just smiling.

By the time you'd finished your comfort food (mac-and-cheese), the rains were gone and the evening air was cool, clean and fragrant for the walk back down the hill.
