GAOC Holiday Sprint Relay at Hard Labor Creek State Park

Join us Sunday, December 11th at Hard Labor Creek State Park for the GAOC Holiday Sprint Relay.
Relay, Sprint, White, and Yellow course are offered, on the Beach map.
Relay Rules
- 3 legs of ~1.5km yellow/orange difficulty legs
- The maps will all be 1:7500 scale
- Teams of 1-3 people
- Teams may not have runners completing consecutive legs
- Maps will be set up in order in the exchange area with the team number on the back
- Runners must stay in waiting area before going out on course
- Turn in maps in exchange area after completing courses
Relay Timing
- Mandatory briefing meeting at 11:00am, if you are running another course plan accordingly
- Mass start at 11:30am
- All remaining legs will mass start at 12:30pm
Notes

Water will NOT be provided on any course. A camelbak water carrying device is highly recommended, particularly given the warm temperatures.
Participants must bring their own compasses, whistle, and water. Additionally, please be respectful of meet and scoring officials by maintaining
appropriate social distancing. DO NOT congregate around the scoring tent after you have downloaded.

Pre-paid pre-registration
is required. (Registration will open for our volunteer meet directors at 7:00pm on Monday, December 11th, and will open
for other volunteer coupon holders at 8:00pm on Monday, December 11th. Registration will open to everyone
at 9:00pm on Monday, December 11th.) No paper forms or payments will be accepted on-site.

Participants will be started promptly at the start time they select when pre-registering.
To facilitate social distancing, please come to the start no earlier than 3 minutes before your start time, but be sure
to be at the start on time.

Runners will have the option to run one or two courses using the same e-stick. If you want to run two courses, you must pre-register
for both courses. On the pre-registration form, you will select your start time for your first course. At the event, when you are
ready to start you second course, come back to the start to be assigned a start time. You must start your second course before noon.

Volunteers needed
Event volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Each volunteer is awarded a coupon that may be used for discounted
(and early) event registration or items from our
merchandise page.
If you are interested in helping out at the start, beginner instruction, search and rescue, or control pickup,
please select your volunteer position(s) on the registration page or contact the meet director.
Schedule
Runners must select their start time when pre-registering, and will be started promptly at their selected start time.
To facilitate social distancing, please come to the start no earlier than 3 minutes before your start time, but be sure
to be at the start on time. There is a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off
all courses by 3:00 pm.
Directions
Directions from Atlanta: I-20 East to exit 105 and go North into Rutledge, then proceed straight on Fairplay Road for 1.2 miles.
Take a slight right onto Lake Rutledge Rd, following signs to the beach.
