Join GAOC on Sunday, September 17, for classic courses at McIntosh Reserve. First start will be at 11:30am.

Hillgrove High School is offering lunches as a fundraiser for their JROTC team. Lunch includes hamburger/cheeseburger or bratwurst, chips, cookie, and a drink (gatorade or water). Pay for your lunch when you register for the event, and pick up your lunch from noon to 1pm at the finish shelter for the JROTC event, down the hill from the GAOC finish.

Notes

1. Water will NOT be provided on any course. A camelbak water carrying device is highly recommended, particularly given the hot temperatures. Participants must bring their own compasses, whistle, and water. Additionally, please be respectful of meet and scoring officials by maintaining appropriate social distancing. DO NOT congregate around the scoring tent after you have downloaded.
2. Pre-paid pre-registration is required. (Registration will open for our volunteer meet directors at 7:00pm on Monday, September 11^th, and will open for other volunteer coupon holders at 8:00pm on Monday, September 11^th. Registration will open to everyone at 9:00pm on Monday, September 11^th.) No paper forms or payments will be accepted on-site.
3. Participants will be started promptly at the start time they select when pre-registering. To facilitate social distancing, please come to the start no earlier than 3 minutes before your start time, but be sure to be at the start on time.
4. Runners will have the option to run one or two courses using the same e-stick. If you want to run two courses, you must pre-register for both courses. On the pre-registration form, you will select your start time for your first course. At the event, when you are ready to start you second course, come back to the start to be assigned a start time. You must start your second course before noon.

Volunteers needed

Event volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Each volunteer is awarded a coupon that may be used for discounted (and early) event registration or items from our merchandise page.

If you are interested in helping out at the start, beginner instruction, search and rescue, or control pickup, please select your volunteer position(s) on the registration page or contact the meet director.

Schedule

Runners must select their start time when pre-registering, and will be started promptly at their selected start time. To facilitate social distancing, please come to the start no earlier than 3 minutes before your start time, but be sure to be at the start on time. There is a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off all courses by 3:00 pm.

From Atlanta, go west on I-20 to exit 34, then south on GA 5 to Whitesburg. Go 2 miles past Whitesburg, then turn left on W. McIntosh Circle. The address is 1046 W McIntosh Cir, Whitesburg, GA 30185.
