The Joe Kurz Wildlife Management Area is a great place to orienteer. You'll find complex contours with intersecting ditches and gullies, wide open fields for fast running, a couple of soggy swamp trails, and the occasional brier patch.
This year's Joe Kurz meet will also be a competition for Houston County JROTC students who will compete on yellow and orange courses. The meet is also open to the public and our usual club members. All are welcome.
