Join GAOC on Sunday, October 14th, at Hard Labor Creek State Park for regular courses (White, Yellow, Orange, Silver, Brown, Green and Red) and a Bike-O.
Regular courses will be on the Beach map; registration, start, and finish will be at Group Shelter 2, near the beach.
The Bike-O course will be on a brand new map of the mountain bike trails; start and finish will be at the mountain bike trailhead off of Knox Chapel Road, about 1.2 miles west of the park office. The regular courses are fairly short; you probably have time to do a regular course and the Bike-O. If you pre-register and pre-pay, you may go directly to the bike trailhead to check in. Otherwise, you will need to register and pay at Group Shelter 2 near the beach.

GAOC offers beginner instruction at 10am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.
Directions from Atlanta: I-20 East to exit 105 and go North into Rutledge and proceed on Fairplay Road. For White through Red courses, turn right onto Lake Rutledge Road and follow the orienteering signs to the beach. For the Bike-O, turn left onto Knox Chapel Road and drive 1.6 miles to the bike trail head on the left.

Typical fees for each day are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
