On March 17th and 18th we will be having a 2-Day local meet at Red Top Mountain State Park. As usual, the entry fees for each day are $7 per entry for members and $10 per entry for associate and non-members. E-chip rentals will cost $3 each day.
Red Top Mountain State Park is very open and runnable this time of year. Visibility through the woods is very good in many areas.
We will be at the Iron Hill area on Saturday.
All courses will travel through the park's campground. The legs are designed so that you should not need to go through campsites, but please avoid campsites if you find yourself a little of course.
Legs have been designed so that running on the main road through the park is not an optimal route choice. Traffic on this road often exceeds the speed limit. Please avoid this road.
Green and Red courses will be in the area of the old mining operation. Some of the cliffs are mapped as uncrossable (thick black lines) and some are mapped as crossable (brown lines). Please treat all of the mining area cliffs as uncrossable.
White and yellow courses will have fully or partially flagged legs. Please follow the blue tape when a flagged leg is indicated on your description sheet.

We will be operating out of the SW corner of the parking lot at the lodge on Sunday. Follow signs for Cottages from the main road and turn right onto Lodge Rd. The Lodge is not well signposted since it is no longer in use.
The woods are fast and open with little undergrowth. There are a lot of new rootstocks due to recent weather. Although we have tried to amend the map as much as possible, there may be some that have not yet made it onto the map.
All the courses cross roads - please be careful when crossing any road. Courses White, Yellow, Orange and Green should only cross Lodge Rd at the crosswalk, marked as a crossing point on the map. No advantage should be gained by travel along Lodge Rd, which is forbidden.
