HQ is at picnic shelter #4 in the beach parking area. We will be using the north side of the map. Orange thru Red courses will cross Dog Creek. Use the bridge and wet your whistle. Cut the corner and get your shoes wet instead. The lake level is high, so opportunities to save time by splashing thru the creek are reduced. Don't cross the bank line! Red course runners may glimpse the rare long-legged groundhog.

GAOC offers beginner instruction at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11am and 1pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3pm.
Directions to the park from the DNR web page go out of their way to go too far north.
Suggested alternate directions below consist of only a short stretch of gravel road:
Take I-985 to Gainesville
Take exit 24 (to US 129N)
Right on Limestone Pkwy (129N) at McDonalds
Right on Clarks Bridge Road
after 4.8 miles, right on B. Clark Road (gravel - changes to paved)
at dead end, right on N Browning Road into park.
