Join us Sunday, March 17th, 2019 for orienteering at Moore’s Bridge Park.
As it is Lá Fhéile Pádraig (better known as St. Patrick’s Day!), we hope to see the wearing of the green! And, keep your eyes open for a wee leprechaun and his pot of gold while on the course!
Online registration is open.

GAOC offers beginner instruction between 10:30am and 11:30am at all local meets. Runners may start their course any time between 11:00am and 1:00pm with a 3-hour time limit for all courses. All runners must be off the courses by 3:00pm.
From the traffic circle in Whitesburg (the intersection of GA5 and GA16), go north on GA 5 (the opposite direction from McIntosh Reserve) for about a mile and turn right on Black Dirt Road. The park will be down about a mile on the right. There is a sign at the entrance.
The park address is 615 Black Dirt Rd, Whitesburg, GA. This is a Carroll County Park like McIntosh Reserve, and it is not very well known, so your GPS may not know about this park or address.
The only facilities in this park are a restroom (with flush toilets!) and a boat ramp. We will start and finish at the restroom parking lot.
Typical fees are shown below. Participants may go out on the course as individuals or with a group. E-chip rental is required if you do not have your own stick.
