TMAC Site Visit - The Campus

The campus is compact, with the dorms, classrooms, meeting rooms, dining hall, and gym, all within walking distance. The campus is pretty much closed off to the outside, with just two entrances from GA Hwy. 115. Summer school will be in session during our convention, but attendance is anticipated at less than 100 and all classes are in the morning, so we should have the campus mostly to ourselves.

The Dining Hall seats 186 and has a wonderful view of the mountains. We asked about serving breakfast early and the staff said to just let them know what our schedule is. We might also want to consider box lunches some days or for some groups like the Juniors. The staff said they would also help us out with the ice cream social, so it looks like we've got the food covered.

Rules

Here are the rules as per our contract:

Smoking is not permitted in any building on TMAC's campus.

Alcoholic beverages and illicit drugs may not be possessed, distributed, or consumed.

Illegal, indecent, obscene, profane, or immoral language or conduct is prohibited.

Observation of quiet hours policies between the hours from 9 pm - 9 am each day. (We'll ask about the hours.)

All kids under 18 must be supervised by adults.
