The
Georgia Orienteering Club provides travel grants for Students who regularly attend our
local meets and are members of GAOC and USOF, to give them
some financial assistance in attending USOF-sanctioned A-meets
held by other USOF clubs outside the state of Georgia.
The purpose of this program is to aid our GAOC Juniors
and College Students in achieving national USOF Rankings.
The
grants will be awarded without regard to Orienteering ability.
Applications for fully eligible members must be submitted
to the GAOC official address on the application. All
decisions regarding timing, eligibility or other matter
related to these grants will be made by the majority vote of
the elected GAOC officers.
Any grants not used for the event stated in the
application must be returned to GAOC.
